086: Giving Up Ministry [Revisited]
Today on Comm Talk by Geek Devotions, Dallas and Celeste take on a pretty serious topic; "Is it appropriate to give up a ministry just because you're not the only one doing it?" Please note that the one posted now is a slightly different version than our previous recording.

Okay, last comment. Chris made a commented that so much in this world is diluted, even people. I could see how the grassroots people may have worded it incorrectly. When I hear “I’m not the only one does it matter?” I see it differently, I wonder if they meant is it so diluted that is it worth the time? Also, are they burned out?

Ughhh comment limit. Next part. Lol I appreciate so much the understanding of knowing you can love something but it’s recognizing that its time to stop.

I typed a long comment and I deleted😭 in error. I listened this morning and came back to comment. The podcast group that made the decision to pause or quit, I kinda get it. I prayed that anxiety is not their guide for their decision making. Sounds like they may have been part of the grassroots. In the world we live in I believe it can be confusing with mental wellness and when God is saying it’s time the pass on the torch.
